## MANAGING ATTORNEY – MUNICIPAL COURT OFFICE

Legal Aid of Western Missouri (LAWMO) is looking for a Managing Attorney to join their downtown Kansas City, Missouri office. The Managing Attorney will be responsible for the supervision of nine attorneys and two paralegals/support staff. They will be responsible for representing defendants in Kansas City, Missouri Municipal Court with charges that are considered to be jailable offenses.

* Courtroom experience
* Management experience preferred
* Computer proficiency
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Desire and commitment to assist in the delivery of high-quality legal assistance
* Ability to speak a second language, preferred, but not required

The salary for this position is $76,000 + DOE. In addition, the following benefits are offered:
