Duties:

  • Draft patent applications and responses to office actions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Provide advice and insights to lawyers on technology issues, preparing them for depositions and related legal proceedings.

Requirements:

  • Substantive industry experience and a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Exceptional technical, written, and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Broad scientific knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering or computer science.
  • Strong expertise in artificial intelligence and machine learning is highly preferred.
  • Initiative, fast learning ability, and effective teamwork skills.
  • Eligibility to sit for the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) registration exam and meet the requirements for registration as a patent agent.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field (required).
  • Advanced degrees in these fields (preferred).

Certifications:

  • Eligibility to sit for the USPTO registration exam (required).
