Litigation Associate Attorney - Mid Level

Sheehan Phinney is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their Boston practice. This position will provide representation to a range of clients in construction and commercial disputes. The successful candidate will have a . from an ABA accredited institution, with a license to practice in MA (NH and other New England states preferred). They will also have 3+ years of law firm experience with construction litigation, claims and contracting experience preferred.

Position Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and draft and prepare pleadings, motions and other litigation documents
• Collect evidence and manage all phases of discovery including e-discovery
• Work with experts, take and defend depositions, attend hearings, arbitrations, mediations and trials
• Provide associates with mentoring and training in a collaborative environment
• Meet commitment to client’s needs, team members, and community

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excel in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills
• Positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, excellent judgement with a dedicated work ethic
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, a high degree of maturity, and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client relationships

• Strong understanding of technical legal terminology, concepts, and proven application
