A law firm in Boston, MA is seeking a Pre-Litigation Attorney responsible for overseeing all aspects of personal injury cases up to the filing of a complaint. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.

 

Duties:

  • Supervise and provide direction to a team of staff members
  • Evaluate the merits of personal injury cases
  • Provide guidance and counsel to clients
  • Conduct medical case reviews
  • Conduct research and legal analysis
  • Negotiate and authorize settlements in the pre-litigation stage

 

Requirements:

  • A license in good standing to practice law in Massachusetts
  • 2+ years of experience with client contact and/or negotiation experience

 

Education & Certifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

 

Skills:

  • Strong research, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle a large and active caseload
  • Prioritization of client representation and customer service
  • Excellent investigator and problem-solving skills
  • Success providing direction and guidance to a team
