A law firm in Boston, MA, is seeking an experienced Employment/Labor Associate Attorney to join their dynamic and sophisticated team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in becoming a key member of the firm and possess at least 3 years of relevant experience representing employers on various labor and employment matters.

Duties:

  • Representing employers on a broad range of labor and employment matters, including litigation (wage and hour, discrimination, non-compete cases) before courts and administrative agencies
  • Providing employment and HR-related counseling to clients
  • Drafting employment-related policies and agreements
  • Conducting investigations and training
  • Handling transactional and due diligence matters
  • Assisting with labor relations activities, including collective bargaining negotiations, arbitrations, union organizing campaigns, and unfair labor practices (experience in this area is a plus)
  • Taking significant responsibility for cases and projects
  • Engaging in one-on-one work with partners and having immediate client contact

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in labor and employment law
  • Strong interest in becoming a key member of a dynamic team
  • Experience representing employers on various labor and employment matters
  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (or eligibility for admission)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Massachusetts Bar (or eligibility for admission)

Skills:
