The candidate must have demonstrable experience in some or all of the following areas: tax-informed structuring of commercial real estate (including multifamily) development transactions; formation of limited liability companies, partnerships, corporations, and other business entities, including experience with allocation structures for multi-tiered LLCs/partnerships to achieve economic agreements among project owners and investors; transaction and project financing experience with developers, investors, lenders, governmental agencies, and bond issuers; planning, negotiating, and structuring project finance involving federal business tax credits (., green energy/investment, low-income housing, and rehabilitation (historic properties) tax credits), state tax credits (NYS tax credit experience in particular), and other state and local economic development programs and incentives; and merger and acquisition transaction structuring and financing. Must be licensed to practice law in New York State.
