Overview:

FORVIS is seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our team in Houston, TX. This role will involve providing tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to pass-through and C-corporation entities, with a focus on industries such as manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, professional services and technology, and financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of ownership and a passion for delivering high-quality service to clients.

Responsibilities:

- Provide tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to pass-through and C-corporation entities
- Supervise, develop, and coach professional tax staff
- Develop and manage client relationships
- Represent FORVIS at networking events
- Participate in the proposal process for potential new clients
- Contribute to FORVIS-sponsored technical guidance and learning and development sessions
- Work with team to assign projects and resolve scheduling conflicts

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience
- CPA license or have satisfied educational requirements for CPA license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Law degree, or a related field

Salary Information:

The salary for this position is competitive and will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Experience Information:

The ideal candidate will have relevant progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and experience in public accounting. A minimum of 2 years of relevant progressive tax experience is required.
