A law firm based in Boston is seeking a skilled Labor and Employment Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in labor and employment law. The ideal candidate should possess excellent academic credentials and significant litigation experience, along with being licensed to practice law in Massachusetts (additional New England admissions are a plus).

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on labor and employment law matters.
  • Handle a variety of labor and employment litigation cases, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and case evaluations.
  • Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in administrative proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings.
  • Advise clients on compliance with state and federal labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist with workplace investigations and audits.
  • Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex legal matters.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor and employment law and legal trends.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Massachusetts; additional admissions in New England jurisdictions are a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in labor and employment law.
  • Excellent academic credentials with significant litigation experience.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Massachusetts; additional admissions in New England jurisdictions are a plus.
