Responsibilities:

- Conduct tax research and analysis on various SALT matters and subjects
- Collaborate with clients and internal personnel at Citrin Cooperman
- Work on income and indirect tax nexus, apportionment and revenue sourcing, sales taxability, credits and incentives, SALT planning and implementation, and M&A SALT due diligence
- Handle SALT controversies involving audits and administrative appeals

Qualifications:

- BS in Accounting, LLM or master’s in taxation
- CPA and/or JD preferred
- Strong SALT experience, including income/franchise tax, personal income tax, and sales/use tax
- Strong research and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong team relationships
- Highly organized and able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
