Duties:

  • Take the lead in managing family law cases, ensuring thorough handling from initiation to resolution.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by providing regular updates to clients, including monthly status reports and weekly case reviews.
  • Offer recommendations to practice managers for enhancing operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Utilize practice quality software to manage performance metrics and track case accomplishments.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and represent clients in court proceedings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and incorporate them into case management.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited university.
  • Passed the Bar Exam on the first attempt.
  • 1st chair family law experience.
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of CT.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technical programs and software.

 

Experience:

3-6 years of litigation experience.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited university.
  • Admission to the Bar in the state of CT.

 

Skills:

  • Strong litigation skills with a focus on family law matters.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
