A law firm is seeking a Product Liability And Mass Torts Associate Attorney with the following responsibilities, qualifications, and requirements:

Job Overview:

The Product Liability And Mass Torts Associate Attorney will represent leaders in various industries, including pharmaceutical, medical device, food, agribusiness, and automotive. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of litigation experience, including deposition and substantive brief writing experience. Knowledge of and experience with California state and federal civil procedure is preferred. Product liability, mass tort, MDL, team management, and/or trial experience in California is a plus. California Bar admission is required.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in product liability and mass tort cases, including pharmaceutical, medical device, food, agribusiness, and automotive industries.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to cases.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of litigation experience.
  • Experience with deposition and substantive brief writing.
  • Knowledge of California state and federal civil procedure.
  • Experience in product liability, mass tort, MDL, team management, and/or trial experience in California preferred.
  • California Bar admission is required.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
