Salary:
The salary range for this position is $107,000 - $204,000, with factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge potentially impacting position of pay within the range.

Job Description:

CLA, a top 10 national professional services firm, is seeking a Tax Manager/Director to join their growing Clean Energy Incentives team in the Federal Tax Strategies practice. This role offers the opportunity to develop client relationships and deliver a full range of clean energy tax consulting services, including project eligibility determinations, cost segregation studies, tax equity structuring, financial modeling, and tax credit transferability. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering and a minimum of 6 years experience in public accounting, professional services, or a law firm working with clean energy tax consulting, due diligence, structuring, and modeling.

Responsibilities:

- Develop client relationships by delivering a full range of clean energy tax consulting services
- Perform tax due diligence projects through a detailed review of tax credit calculations, qualifying eligible project costs, financial statements, and compiling summary tax due diligence reports
- Lead credit transactions by adhering to deal deadlines, providing prompt responses, and delivering desired client outcomes
- Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that offers flexibility, autonomy, and the encouragement to make things happen
- Monitor engagement progress by tracking time, budgets, and deadlines for adherence

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification required (EA or JD may be accepted)
- Minimum of 6 years experience in clean energy tax consulting, due diligence, structuring, and modeling
- Engineering background is a plus
