The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the firm, overseeing various responsibilities related to estate planning, elder law, and estate administration. This role includes supervising Medicaid applications and guardianship complaints, drafting asset protection plans and estate planning documents, managing all phases of estate administration, attending client meetings, and handling client communication. The Estate Planning/Elder Law Attorney will also be responsible for marketing efforts to attract estate planning and elder law clients, developing relationships with community partners, speaking on estate planning and elder law topics, drafting court submissions, and attending court proceedings. In addition, this position will involve handling estate litigation matters. Candidates must have NJ Bar admission, with preference given to those with PA Bar admission.

Duties:

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in estate planning and elder law.
  • Admission to the New Jersey (NJ) Bar is required.
  • Preferably admitted to the Pennsylvania (PA) Bar.
  • Strong knowledge of estate planning, elder law, and Medicaid regulations.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Marketing skills to attract clients and develop community partnerships.
  • Public speaking and presentation abilities.
  • Legal research and drafting skills for court submissions.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
