Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a dynamic Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Roseland, NJ. The successful candidate will handle various aspects of litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and reports, and representing clients in court appearances and depositions.

Duties:

• Conducting legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedent
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Taking and defending depositions
• Making court appearances and representing clients in various legal proceedings
• Interfacing with clients, fact and expert witnesses, adjusters, adversary counsel, and the Court

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in New Jersey; admission in New York is preferred
• 2-5 years of private practice experience, with a focus on litigation preferred
• Strong understanding of civil procedure and litigation strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Demonstrated commitment to client service and professional integrity

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Law license in New Jersey
