The Assistant Prosecuting Attorney (Civil Division) position is an integral part of the [Organization] legal team. The successful candidate will possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and be admitted to practice in the State of Ohio. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably in civil litigation.

**Overview of Responsibilities:**

- Represent the [Organization] in civil legal matters, including civil litigation, contract review, and preparation of legal opinions
- Provide legal advice and counsel to the [Organization] on a wide variety of matters
- Analyze legal issues, identify risks, and develop strategies to mitigate risk
- Research and analyze relevant case law
- Draft and review a wide variety of legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents
- Negotiate and draft settlement agreements
- Manage cases from start to finish, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and post-trial matters
- Manage outside counsel, if necessary

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Juris Doctor from ABA accredited law school
