Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in patent law, with a focus on drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
  • A technical background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Admission to the Michigan Bar.
  • Admission to the . Patent Bar.
  • Excellent academic credentials are required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Michigan Bar.
