A law firm based in Boston is seeking a dynamic Healthcare Associate Attorney with a strong interest in technology use in healthcare and a passion for leveraging technology to shape the future of healthcare. The successful candidate will exclusively work in digital health, representing startups and founder-led companies across all stages, from pre-formation to capital markets.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to digital health startups and founder-led companies.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance matters related to healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Assist in structuring and negotiating transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and financing rounds.
  • Draft and review contracts, agreements, and corporate governance documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging issues in digital health and healthcare technology.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal and business challenges.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar and eligibility to practice law in Massachusetts.
  • 3-7 years of experience in healthcare law, with a focus on regulatory compliance.
  • Prior experience advising on the corporate practice of medicine is preferred.
  • Strong interest in technology use in healthcare and a passion for shaping healthcare's future.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar and eligibility to practice law in Massachusetts.

 

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
