Job Overview: A law firm specializing in personal injury cases seeks a dedicated Personal Injury Attorney to join their team in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate will have a passion for advocating for clients, possess strong communication and negotiation skills, and demonstrate proficiency in legal research, writing, and trial advocacy.

Duties:

• Communicating with clients to provide legal advice and guidance throughout the litigation process.
• Conducting and defending depositions to gather evidence and testimony.
• Performing legal research and drafting various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Leading mediations to facilitate settlement negotiations.
• Developing comprehensive case strategies in collaboration with the legal team.
• Representing clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and settlement conferences.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.
• Licensed to practice law in Tennessee and good standing with the TN State Bar.
• Proven experience drafting and responding to motions.
• Thorough understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Tennessee State Bar.
