The ideal candidate must be admitted to practice in Connecticut, with strong organizational, time management, writing, and interpersonal skills. A dual license to practice in New York is considered a plus.

Duties:

• Handle insurance defense cases in Connecticut State Courts.
• Conduct depositions, hearings, and other court proceedings.
• Perform legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.
• Manage case files and deadlines.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice in Connecticut.
• 2+ years of experience litigating insurance defense cases in Connecticut State Courts.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Dual license to practice in New York is a plus.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
