Job Overview: A law firm in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Private Client Services Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 5-15 years of relevant experience in estate planning, gift taxation, trust administration, and related services. International estate planning experience is considered a plus. The Senior Associate Attorney will collaborate closely with a Partner who is Florida Bar Board Certified in Wills, Trusts, and Estates.

Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive legal counsel in estate planning, gift taxation, and trust administration.
  • Assist individuals, charitable organizations, foundations, and corporate fiduciaries, including banks and trust companies.
  • Collaborate with the Partner to develop and implement effective legal strategies for clients.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to stay current with laws and regulations affecting private client services.

Requirements:

  • 5-15 years of relevant experience in estate planning, gift taxation, and trust administration.
  • Experience in international estate planning is a plus.
  • Collaboration with a Partner who is Florida Bar Board Certified in Wills, Trusts, and Estates.
  • LLM in Tax or Estate Planning is preferred.
  • Membership in the Florida Bar or willingness to become a member.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • LLM in Tax or Estate Planning is preferred.

Certifications:

  • Florida Bar membership or willingness to become a member.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of estate planning, gift taxation, and trust administration.
  • Legal research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
