Job Overview:

The Plaintiff's Personal Injury Attorney will represent clients in personal injury cases. They will handle all aspects of litigation, from case inception to settlement or trial, ensuring that clients receive the best possible legal representation.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls and medical malpractice.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights and options.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility to waive into the Illinois Bar.
  • 0-2 years of experience practicing law, preferably in personal injury litigation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Comfortable learning and using a case management system, Smart Advocate.
  • Detail-oriented and accurate in work.
  • Reliable and hardworking, willing to go the extra mile for clients.
