Salary: $105,000 - $160,000 depending on experience and location

Job Description:

- Review and assess excess casualty claims, determine coverage, and make recommendations for settlement
- Maintain relationships with internal and external partners
- Manage costs, including use of counsel and litigation costs
- Investigate potentially fraudulent claims
- Identify opportunities for contribution, subrogation, and risk transfer
- Prepare required reports for senior management

Key Skills and Abilities:

- 7-10+ years of claims experience with 3-5 years in general liability
- Bachelor's degree required, JD a plus
- Experience with New York Labor Law, Product Liability, and Complex Litigation claims
- Proficient in analyzing coverage, drafting coverage correspondence, and responding to tenders
- Ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with KPIs, data, and metrics

Requirements:

- Valid state licenses as required
- Travel may be required for team management, court proceedings, and mediations

Salary Information:

- $105,000 - $125,000 (GA)
- $120,000 - $150,000 (NJ)
- $125,000 - $160,000 (NY)
