The ideal candidate should possess excellent writing skills and substantial experience in deposition, motion practice, and courtroom proceedings.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to litigation matters.
  • Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, briefs, and pleadings.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on case strategy and preparation.
  • Manage caseload efficiently and effectively prioritize tasks.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Michigan (or ability to become admitted promptly).
  • 5+ years of experience in litigation practice.
  • Experience in employment law, medical malpractice, and/or municipal law preferred.

 

Skills:
