Duties:

  • Conduct due diligence and risk assessment for various corporate transactions.
  • Provide general corporate legal guidance to clients, including governance, compliance, and regulatory matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to develop legal strategies and solutions.
  • Manage and supervise junior associates and legal staff on assigned projects.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission within six months of employment.
  • 3-6 years of relevant legal experience in mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters, preferably at a reputable law firm.
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal matters and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the New York State Bar Association or eligibility for admission within six months.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills.
  • Knowledge of corporate law, securities regulations, and relevant legal frameworks.
