A law firm located in Mineola is seeking a Mid-Level Estate Litigation Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate should possess excellent writing, oral communication, and time management/organization skills, along with experience in Trust & Estates and/or Commercial Litigation.

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Estate Litigation Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling estate litigation matters, requiring strong writing, oral communication, and time management/organization skills. General experience with business entities is also desired.

Duties:

• Handle estate litigation matters, including will contests, trust disputes, and fiduciary litigation.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on estate planning and administration issues.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Provide legal counsel to clients on estate planning and administration strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop and execute litigation strategies.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of Trust & Estates and/or Commercial Litigation experience.
• Excellent writing, oral communication, and time management/organization skills.
• General knowledge of estate planning and administration issues and strategies is a plus.
• Experience with business entities is preferred.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
