Tax Transformation Manager Technology & Innovation Technology Strategy

Position Summary:

The Tax Transformation Manager will be responsible for driving improvements across Deloitte Tax's market offerings, with a focus on transforming client service delivery through people, process, and technology. This role offers the opportunity to be part of an innovative team within Deloitte Tax, delivering value aligned with the Deloitte brand.

Responsibilities:

- Apply agile and design thinking techniques to analyze and improve processes
- Collaborate with Tax professionals to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
- Manage business requirements and collaborate throughout the technology delivery lifecycle
- Conduct user testing and readiness assessments
- Prepare learning materials and drive adoption through change management and communication
- Analyze feedback and develop action plans
- Lead decommissioning of legacy systems
- Manage projects and ensure successful delivery

The Team:

The Tax Transformation Office at Deloitte Tax is a team of professionals from various backgrounds, including Tax Professionals, Human Capital and Technology Consultants, and IT professionals. The team works on a wide range of projects focused on process design, deployment, and adoption, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder analysis, communications, learning, and change management.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model, requiring in-person work 2-3 days per week
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or information technology related field
- 5+ years of client service experience in one or more of the following tax compliance areas: Corporate, Investment Management, Operating Flow-Throughs, Individuals, Estates & Trusts, or Indirect
- Ability to travel up to 25% for project work
- Active accreditation in one of the following: CPA, Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or Technology Certifications
- Experience with agile or PMP methodologies
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Process-driven thinking and strong communication skills

Preferred:

- 5+ years of digital transformation experience
- Experience with agile delivery and design thinking
- Business process analysis and design experience
- End-to-end technology project delivery experience
- Training delivery and client-facing support experience
- Strong focus on deployment, adoption, and driving change
- Experience in defining delivery standards
- Strong knowledge of data management and metrics
- Project management experience

Salary Range:

The salary range for this role is $103,320 to $235,170, taking into account factors such as skills, experience, and certifications. Deloitte typically does not hire individuals at the top of the range, and compensation decisions are based on individual circumstances.
