Managing Attorney - Remote Position with Forbes' Top Workplace for Diversity

Overview:

- Provide legal representation to clients and handle cases from start to finish.
- Additionally, make employment decisions, handle performance management, monitor department budget, make compensation decisions, and develop employees.
- This is a remote position with occasional travel to a Texas office for meetings and/or training.

Qualifications:

- Juris doctorate required
- Active license to practice law in Texas
- May require a valid driver's license and auto insurance

Preferred Skills:

- Experience handling all aspects of litigation, including expert discovery and trial, in moderate to high complexity lawsuits
- Thorough understanding and working knowledge of medical and other technical information
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of applicable laws and rules (. evidence, civil procedure, trial practice, and tort)
- Ability to execute organizational strategy
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work in a team-based environment

Compensation:

- Salary range: $148,580 - $174,800/year
- Gainshare bonus up to 50% of eligible earnings based on company performance
