Introduction to the Team
The State & Local Tax team at Moss Adams helps clients stay up-to-date on the ever-changing and complex state and local tax rules. As a business advisor in this team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tax matters and start realizing your potential in one of the fastest growing groups at Moss Adams.

Responsibilities
As a State and Local Tax Manager, you will:

- Assist with management of clients and their needs
- Perform technical review of partnership and corporate state tax returns and work papers
- Analyze taxpayer data and identify opportunities for prospects and clients
- Keep up-to-date on state and local tax law changes
- Participate in business development activities
- Develop internal relationships within the firm and help grow external branding

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should have:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; Master’s Degree in taxation or JD/LLM preferred
- CPA and/or licensed attorney strongly preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of related tax experience; public accounting experience preferred
- Previous experience in tax research and providing technical advice on state and local tax issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%
