Job Details:

• Independently manage a litigation caseload, overseeing cases from initiation to conclusion.
• Attend court hearings in various counties and courthouses, representing clients effectively.
• Monitor routine case files, ensuring deadlines are met, and conduct investigations to determine causes of action.
• Research, analyze, and interpret law sources, including statutes, rules, regulations, ordinances, court decisions, and legal opinions.
• Assist with document review and preparation.
• Utilize strong research and analytical skills to support legal arguments and strategies
• Conduct depositions and effectively represent clients during the process
• Demonstrate expertise in handling all aspects of litigation with a focus on delivering favorable outcomes
• Exhibit an interest in expanding litigation practice into other fields

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant litigation experience
• Good standing with the Indiana Bar; Illinois license is preferred
• Proven experience managing an independent caseload and handling all phases of litigation
• Strong organization and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to provide writing samples demonstrating legal proficiency
• Deposition experience is required
• Solid understanding of litigation processes and procedures
• Interest in expanding expertise into other areas of legal practice

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Indiana Bar; Illinois Bar admission is preferred
