Key Responsibilities:

- Negotiate, draft, and analyze various agreements related to project development and construction, including EPC agreements, major equipment procurement agreements, power purchase agreements, and more.
- Assist with real estate matters, permitting, environmental issues, and other commercial arrangements necessary for project development.
- Provide support for financing transactions, including due diligence, documentation, and regulatory approvals.
- Manage outside counsel to ensure cost-effective legal services.
- Develop and maintain familiarity with regulatory and environmental matters related to commercial and finance agreements.

Qualifications:

- Law degree from an accredited university with strong academic credentials.
- Membership in the Texas, New York, or California Bar.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience practicing commercial law, with experience in development and construction, finance, corporate, or energy law preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
- Flexibility and adaptability to quickly learn new subject matter.

As a Senior Counsel, you will use your broad commercial and construction legal experience to negotiate and draft various agreements related to project development and construction, including EPC agreements, major equipment procurement agreements, power purchase agreements, and more. You will also assist with real estate matters, permitting, environmental issues, and other commercial arrangements necessary for project development. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to support financing transactions and manage outside counsel to ensure cost-effective legal services.

To be successful in this role, you should have a law degree from an accredited university with strong academic credentials and membership in the Texas, New York, or California Bar. You should also have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience practicing commercial law, with experience in development and construction, finance, corporate, or energy law preferred. Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently are also necessary for this role.
