PwC's Financial Services Tax practice is seeking a skilled Insurance Tax Manager to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients in navigating the complex and ever-changing tax environment related to the insurance industry.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, as well as a CPA or Bar membership. A Master's degree is preferred. They should also have at least 4 years of experience in public accounting, internal insurance tax departments, or internal foreign insurance departments.

As a Manager, the candidate will work as part of a team of problem solvers, providing strategic solutions to complex business issues. They will also have the opportunity to develop new skills and coach others, while upholding PwC's code of ethics and business conduct.

Responsibilities:
- Provide tax advice to clients in the insurance industry, both domestic and international.
- Utilize technical skills and knowledge in FAS 109, FIN 48, and tax compliance to prepare and review tax provisions.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and the community, and communicate value propositions.
- Manage resources, project workflow, budgets, and billing.
- Coach and provide feedback to staff.
- Develop new relationships and sell new services to clients.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and provide insights to clients.
- Utilize automation and digitization tools to optimize engagements.
- Provide a point of view on pricing strategies using alternative fee arrangements.
- Uphold PwC's code of ethics and business conduct.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- CPA or Bar membership.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting, internal insurance tax departments, or internal foreign insurance departments.
- Familiarity with CRM systems preferred.
- Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
- Ability to work with large, complex data sets and utilize data visualization tools.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
- Passion for innovation and client service.
- Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment.
