OVERVIEW

Goldman Sachs is seeking a highly experienced attorney to join our Legal team as a Vice President. This role will support our Bank Regulatory and Deposits Legal team, which advises the firm on all legal and regulatory matters related to . deposits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial law and be able to provide strategic input and support to our retail and institutional deposit businesses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Vice President in the Bank Regulatory and Deposits Legal team, you will be responsible for:

- Advising deposit-taking businesses on new product development
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documents for deposit products
- Staying updated on legal, regulatory, and market developments and participating in advocacy on proposed rules
- Collaborating with business and support functions to develop policies, procedures, and controls

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this role, you should have:

- A JD and be currently admitted to practice law
- 3+ years of experience at a law firm, in-house at a financial institution, or a regulatory agency
- Experience with deposits transactional work or deposits bank regulation preferred
- Familiarity with payments rules, including NACHA and card network rules, preferred
