The Division of Law (DOL) offers law students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and insight into the work of the state's civil attorneys through its internship program. This program is coordinated by the Division of Administration, Human Resource Management, and offers internships in various sections located in Newark, Trenton, and Voorhees.

Specializing in a particular area of interest, such as education law, civil rights litigation, complex financial transactions, or child protection proceedings, interns are assigned to a specific DOL section. They perform a variety of law clerk responsibilities, including research and writing, and have the opportunity to observe a wide range of lawyering activities, such as court proceedings, client meetings, depositions, and training sessions.

Eligibility:
- Only law students are eligible for this internship program.
