The successful candidate will play a key role in file reviews, legal analyses, extensive research, and client representation in various legal proceedings. Job Details:

  • Conduct file reviews and perform legal analyses of claims and causes of action.
  • Engage in extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.
  • Regularly represent clients in court, arbitrations, and depositions.
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests to support legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate on expert witness retention and coordination efforts.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in General Liability; Insurance Coverage experience is a plus.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid research abilities and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to self-manage and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Prompt responsiveness to email and phone inquiries.
  • Excellent client skills and a professional telephone manner.

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
  • Admission to practice law in the states of NY and CT.
