Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a dedicated Health Care Attorney to assist in delivering effective solutions to complex legal issues faced by clients administering or providing health care services. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of litigation experience in health care law and possess expertise in health care reimbursement and regulatory compliance matters.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in health care law matters.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis pertaining to health care reimbursement and regulatory compliance issues.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in arbitration and litigation proceedings related to reimbursement disputes.
  • Advise clients on matters concerning health care regulations and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in health care law.
  • Admitted to practice in California.
  • Knowledge and experience in litigating health care reimbursement and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Familiarity with arbitration and litigation procedures related to reimbursement disputes.
  • Public agency experience preferred.
  • Experience with health care regulatory matters related to public health care providers and Medi-Cal preferred.
  • Admitted in Nevada or willing to take the Nevada Bar exam (preferred).

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Nevada (preferred).
