Law Firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Commercial Litigation teams. The Associate Attorney will provide legal advice and counsel to clients in matters involving bankruptcy, restructuring, and commercial litigation. This role requires excellent academic credentials with two to four years of relevant experience, as well as a license to practice law in the State of Arizona. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities: • Represent clients in Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings, out-of-court restructurings, Chapter 7 liquidation proceedings and bankruptcy litigation, including matters involving fraudulent and preferential transfers, as well as state and federal commercial court proceedings. • Analyze client needs and develop legal strategies to ensure their needs are met. • Draft legal documents such as petitions, complaints, motions, and briefs. • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients. • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients. • Monitor changes in the law and regulations that may affect clients’ interests. • Prepare and present oral and written arguments in court. • Attend hearings and depositions. • Supervise and mentor junior associates. • Maintain client confidentiality.
