Job Overview: A law firm in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate should have litigation experience in Texas state courts, particularly in defending personal injury and/or wrongful death lawsuits in practice areas such as transportation/trucking, construction, premises liability, product liability, or energy. The candidate must be licensed to practice law in Texas.

Duties:

• Represent clients in state court litigation proceedings, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests/responses.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant case law and statutes.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations as required.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client communication.
• Prepare for and participate in trial proceedings as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
• 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in the specified practice areas.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
