A law firm is seeking a Senior Estates and Trusts Attorney for their Philadelphia office. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing basic and sophisticated estate planning documents. Providing comprehensive legal counsel to high-net-worth clients. Demonstrating strong client relationship skills and leading in-person client meetings. Independently managing and first-chairing the drafting of complex estate planning documents.

 

Duties:

  • Drafting and reviewing estate planning documents such as irrevocable and revocable trusts, wills, SLATs, and GRATs.
  • Incorporating estate and income tax planning strategies into documents.
  • Providing legal counsel and addressing planning needs of high-net-worth clients.
  • Leading in-person client meetings and maintaining strong client relationships.

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience practicing trusts and estates law.
  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Pennsylvania Bar admission.

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting estate planning documents.
  • Strong understanding of estate and income tax planning strategies.
  • Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage complex estate planning matters.
