A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney to join their commercial litigation team.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various commercial litigation matters.
• Assist senior attorneys in drafting legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and client meetings.
• Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information and evidence.
• Review and analyze documents and evidence for case preparation.
• Assist in case strategy development and implementation.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation.
• Provide support to senior attorneys in all phases of litigation.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive into the New York Bar.
• Strong academic background with excellent grades.
• Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive into the New York Bar.
