Internships with the New Jersey Division of Law The New Jersey Division of Law offers law students the opportunity to serve an internship during their Fall or Spring Semesters or during their Summer breaks. Interns will be assigned to one of the Division’s sections, where they will be supervised by a Deputy Attorney General. An Assistant Attorney General will have overall supervision of the program. Benefits of an Internship with the New Jersey Division of Law Interns at the New Jersey Division of Law will gain valuable experience in legal research, writing, and lawyering activity. They will attend court proceedings, meetings with clients, and depositions. They will also be eligible to participate in training sessions offered to Deputy Attorneys General throughout the year. Location & Salary Interns at the New Jersey Division of Law will be assigned to one of the following sections: -Law & Public Safety - Trenton Interns will receive a salary of $20/hour.
