Tax Senior - Investment Management - Private Equity Tax (West Region Office Locations)

- Tax Senior position in the largest growth area of the tax industry
- Experience serving clients in partnership taxation, leading and mentoring teams, and advising on tax and business issues
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to investment management clients
- Assist clients with effective analysis, solution development, and implementation of tax objectives
- Manage client relationships and deliver tax advisory services
- Perform detail-level reviews of tax research, partnership work papers, allocations, and tax filings
- Coordinate and communicate with client contacts to gather information for tax returns
- Train, mentor, and supervise new and experienced-level tax staff
- Prepare and lead client meetings on compliance and advisory projects related to tax planning opportunities and transactions
- Work with a global team of over 1,400 professionals providing tax services to Investment Management companies
- Clients include investment advisers and administrators from various sectors of the industry such as hedge funds, private equity, family offices, and more
- Ability to work within a hybrid work model, with in-person work required 2-3 days per week
- Up to 25% travel required, based on client work and industry served
- 3+ years of experience in tax planning or preparing and reviewing tax work papers and returns
- Strong knowledge of investment management or partnership taxation, Subchapter K, partnership allocation methodologies, and tax compliance process
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related field
- Preferred certifications: Licensed CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, CFP
- Previous experience with Big 4 or large CPA firm preferred
- Knowledge of fund accounting and general ledger accounting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Competitive salary range of $63,420 to $144,300, plus potential for discretionary annual incentive program participation
