  • Draft primary deal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, investment agreements (including tax equity), financing agreements, and joint venture agreements
  • Lead complex due diligence processes
  • Manage junior associates and internal specialist teams
  • Interact with clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure high-quality work product and adherence to deadlines

 

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in the project development and finance group
  • Admission to one or more State Bars
  • Significant experience in energy project development, M&A, and project finance transactions
  • Familiarity with energy regulatory matters, project real property, permitting requirements, and offtake agreements
  • Strong team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to handle significant responsibility and work in a fast-paced environment

 

Education:

JD degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Admission to one or more State Bars

 

Skills:

  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • Strong understanding of energy project finance and development
