A law firm in Houston, TX, is seeking an Attorney with expertise in oil and gas law. The candidate will provide legal counsel and representation to clients in matters pertaining to oil and gas law. Draft and review oil and gas title opinions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and agreements.

Duties:

• Conduct thorough title examinations and due diligence reviews.
• Draft and analyze oil and gas leases, contracts, and agreements.
• Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance and land use issues.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
• Stay updated on developments in oil and gas law and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Law license in an oil and gas producing jurisdiction, including Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, California, Colorado, Utah, North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Ohio, or Pennsylvania.
• 2+ years of experience specifically in drafting oil and gas title opinions.
