Job Overview:

The Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney will be responsible for supporting all facets of litigation, contributing to case management, and providing legal counsel to clients. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree, 3+ years of litigation experience, and preferably prior experience in insurance defense or jury trials.

Duties:

  • Handle all stages of litigation, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trials
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on insurance defense matters
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs
  • Assist with the management of a high-volume caseload
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure efficient case handling

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas
  • 3+ years of practical litigation experience
  • Prior experience in insurance defense and/or jury trials preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and writing skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage deadlines effectively
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
