Job Overview:
- Searching for an AVP, Associate Counsel to work on transactional projects
- Negotiate contracts with mutual fund, alternative investment, advisory platform, insurance, and annuity issuers
- Provide legal analysis on securities regulations and insurance laws
- Located in Fort Mill, SC, Boston, MA, or San Diego, CA

Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and revise contracts with mutual fund, insurance, advisory platform, and alternative investment companies
- Provide legal support for product teams and advise on platforms and product initiatives
- Ensure adherence to contracting processes and standards relating to risk allocation and data security

Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in law firm or financial services industry
- Admission to state bar
- Strong understanding of regulatory landscape for broker-dealers, registered investment advisors, and insurance agencies

Core Competencies:
- Ability to collaborate with external business partners and their counsel
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Pay Range: $137,520-$206,280/year
