Job Overview:

The Cyber, Privacy, and Data Associate Attorney will be pivotal in advising and representing clients on all cybersecurity and incident response matters. They will help clients navigate the complex and ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats and data protection regulations. Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel to clients on cybersecurity and incident response matters.
  • Assist clients in navigating data protection regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Conducted legal research and drafted legal documents related to cybersecurity and privacy issues.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, settlements, and litigation proceedings related to cybersecurity incidents.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop effective cybersecurity strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity and incident response.
  • Strong academic credentials from a reputable law school.
  • Membership to the OR State Bar.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Superb oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Membership to the OR State Bar.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively.
