A law firm is seeking a Personal Injury Attorney for their Amarillo, TX office. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Job Overview:

• Provide legal representation to clients in personal injury cases.
• Responsible for client communication, depositions, research, drafting, mediations, case strategy development, and trial representation.

Duties:

• Communicate with clients to understand case details and provide updates.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
• Lead mediations to negotiate settlements.
• Develop case strategies based on thorough analysis.
• Represent clients in court, taking cases to trial when necessary.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
• Experience drafting and responding to motions.
• Substantial knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Texas.
