Austin office of our client seeks an insurance defense attorney with 3-6 years of experience in auto defense litigation or plaintiffs' personal injury. The candidate will be a part of the trucking accident litigation team and provide legal representation to transportation companies in all aspects of litigation. Handle cases from beginning to end and prepare legal pleadings, motions, statements, and trial briefs, and be involved in negotiating settlements. Work closely with clients and paralegals to prepare timely reports on litigation, ensuring all appropriate defenses are leveraged to reach positive outcomes. Analyze written discovery, depositions, and medical records and assess the value of claims to determine risk exposure.
