Position Summary:

- Seeking experienced professional with expertise in renewable energy, research and development, or other federal credits and incentive engagements.
- Passion for providing value to clients and working on high-value engagements for some of the world's largest companies in a variety of industries.

Work Responsibilities:

- Analyze and document complexities around tax credit eligibility.
- Perform credit calculations and evaluate entity structuring and deal terms for tax credit investments.
- Work with a highly-experienced team and utilize standardized approaches and various analyzer and optimization tools.
- Manage review and organization of client data for credits and incentives analyses.
- Serve as lead point-of-contact for client personnel with both tax and technical backgrounds.

- Manage federal credits and incentives opportunities.
- Leverage technical skills to solve complex issues.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and instincts in evaluating various credit and incentive opportunities.
- Develop, mentor, and motivate team members.
- Provide counseling and career guidance.

- National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) is a national practice within Deloitte Tax LLP.
- NFTS offers tax planning and compliance support for the largest organizations across all industries.
- The Global Investment & Innovation Incentives (Gi3) tax team is a national team of specialists dedicated to providing comprehensive tax credit and incentive services.
- These benefits are offered for activities conducted in the United States and in over 30 other countries.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, law, engineering, technology, or related field.
- 8+ years' experience in core federal tax compliance.
- Active accreditations such as CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, PMP, CFA, or professional engineer.

Preferred:

- Big 4 or large CPA firm experience.
- Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, LLM, or JD.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Effective research, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience prioritizing workload and participating in strategic planning initiatives.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.

Salary Information:

- Wage range for this role is $153,860 - $285,740.
- Range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs.
- Compensation decisions are dependent on individual circumstances.
- Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program.
