Role Description
• The Senior Counsel will be a part of the Litigation Group within Johnson & Johnson's Law Department.
• The focus of this role is to provide legal advice and representation for complex commercial disputes globally, with an emphasis on US litigation and international arbitration.
• The Senior Counsel will report to the Assistant General Counsel, Complex Commercial Litigation Practice Group Lead.
• Responsibilities include advising on pre-litigation disputes, developing litigation strategies, selecting and supervising outside counsel, and negotiating legal budgets.
• The Senior Counsel will also provide guidance on commercial issues related to existing or potential litigation or arbitrations.

Qualifications
• degree required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a practicing attorney.
• Strong background in commercial litigation.
• Ability to understand and navigate complex legal frameworks.
• Experience in one or more of the following practice areas is a plus: commercial, advertising, regulatory, tax, securities, congressional investigations, and other substantive practice areas.
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments within Johnson & Johnson.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence decision making.
• Proven ability to think analytically and provide clear and concise solutions.
• Strong business acumen and ability to make sound judgments.
• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer industries preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 10%, both domestically and globally.

Salary Information
• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $160,000 - $276,000.
• The Company offers highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs.
• Eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan.
• Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion based on individual and company performance.
• Eligible for employee benefit programs such as health insurance, savings plan, pension plan, disability plan, long-term incentive, vacation pay, sick time, holiday pay, and work, personal and family time off.
